Our metal plant is our own, but it is in Huizhou, Guangdong, not in Toronto. That is the honest shape of this service: one supplier from drawing to install, factory-direct pricing instead of a broker's margin, and insured on-site work in Ontario. What it does not give you is a local shop that can weld a bracket this afternoon. It suits planned projects on a build schedule, measured in weeks.

Commercial and architectural metalwork we fabricate

Each element is drawn and quoted separately, so a storefront portal, a counter front, and a run of railings never disappear into one lump-sum number.

Storefront frames and portals

Entrance portals, door surrounds, and window frames in stainless or powder-coated steel, built as bolt-together sections that pass through a mall corridor and line up on site.

Metal counters and cash wraps

Checkout counters, service desks, and counter fronts in brushed or PVD-finished stainless, with folded panels, blended seams, equipment cut-outs, and concealed fixings.

Display frames and shelving brackets

Display frames, wall bays, upright systems, shelf brackets, and adjustable rails sized to real shelf loads and the shelves they carry.

Railings, screens, and partitions

Guardrails, handrails, perforated screens, and dividers for retail floors, mezzanines, and lobbies, fabricated to your architect's design intent drawings.

Planters, benches, and site furniture

Stainless and aluminum planters, bench frames, and bollard surrounds, in 316 grade where weather and de-icing salt are a factor.

Canopy and signage structures

Entrance canopies, fascia frames, and the sub-structure behind signage and channel letters, drilled and tapped for the sign fixings before it leaves the factory.

Metal cladding, trims, and reveals

Column cladding, wall panels, kick plates, and shadow-gap reveals in stainless, aluminum, or painted steel, with panel layouts set out so joints land where the design wants.

Lightbox frames and lit metalwork

Lightbox housings, backlit frames, and metal with integrated LED, acrylic diffusers, and glass, wired and trial-lit in the factory rather than improvised on site.

Equipment surrounds and back-of-house metal

Enclosures around fridges and service equipment, prep counters, shelving, and splashbacks in 304 stainless, with access panels where the trades need them.

Drawings and quoting in Toronto

Send an architect's package, a sketch, or site photos with dimensions. Our Toronto team returns shop drawings showing panel breakdown, gauges, joints, finishes, and anchoring.

Sample and finish approval

Finish samples are made on the same grade of metal as the job: brushed direction, PVD colour, powder-coat code, or mirror. Difficult curves get a test section. Nothing goes into production unsigned.

Fabrication in our own plant

Cutting, forming, welding, grinding, polishing, and finishing happen in our own Huizhou factory, not a job shop, so schedule and quality control stay with one company. Progress photos at each stage.

Pre-assembly and trial fit

Frames, counters, and cladding runs are assembled on the factory floor, checked for fit, and match-marked, so the install crew is not solving geometry in a live mall unit.

Crating and freight

Finished metal is wrapped, corner-protected, and export-crated, then shipped by sea or air. We book the freight and give you a delivery window to plan the trades around.

GTA delivery and installation

Our Ontario crew delivers and installs: setting frames, levelling counters, fixing cladding, anchoring railings, and connecting lit elements to the electrical rough-ins.

What drives the price

Metal quotes move on a short list of variables. Knowing them before the design is frozen keeps a project inside budget instead of value-engineering it after tender.

Material and grade: powder-coated steel at the low end, 304 stainless mid-range, 316 and specialty alloys at the top
Sheet thickness, and whether the piece needs an internal frame to stay flat and rigid
Finish: brushed and powder coat are routine, while mirror polish and PVD colour add hours and reject risk
Welding and polishing labour, the biggest line on any seamless-looking piece
Size versus shipping: parts that break into crate-sized sections land far cheaper than one large weldment
Integrated lighting, acrylic, and glass, plus the wiring and trial-lighting that come with them
Site access: elevator and corridor sizes, after-hours mall work, and working at height

Typical ranges, not promises. Tell us the site handover date early and we work backwards from it.

Drawings and quoting: about one to two weeks from a usable package, less for a simple counter or frame
Samples and finish approval: roughly one week, longer for a PVD colour or a test section
Fabrication: typically three to six weeks, depending on quantity, finish, and hand polishing
Freight: around four to six weeks by sea, or about one week by air when the schedule justifies it
GTA delivery and installation: usually a few days on site once the space is ready

Do you fabricate in Toronto?

No, and we would rather say so plainly. Our Toronto team handles the site measure, drawings, quoting, and project management, and our Ontario crew handles delivery and installation. The metal itself is fabricated in our own plant in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. That gives you factory-direct pricing and one supplier for the whole job, but it means this suits planned projects with a few weeks of lead time, not same-week emergency repairs.

What is the lead time?

Typically: one to two weeks for drawings and approval, about a week for finish samples, three to six weeks in fabrication, and four to six weeks of sea freight, or roughly a week by air. Installation is usually a few days on site. Simple powder-coated frames run at the fast end, large mirror-polished or PVD work at the slow end.

Can you work from our drawings or 3D files?

Yes, that is how most projects start. Send a DWG, PDF, STEP, or Rhino file, or a design intent package, and we return shop drawings with panel breakdown, gauges, joint details, finishes, and anchoring for approval before anything is cut. Sketches and site photos with dimensions are enough for a first budget number.

What stainless finishes can you do?

Hairline and brushed finishes, bead blast, mirror polish, PVD colour such as gold, bronze, and black, powder coat, and painted finishes. Samples are made on the same grade as the job, because a brushed direction or PVD tone that looks right on screen rarely matches on site.

Do you install?

Yes, across the Greater Toronto Area. Our crew delivers, sets and levels the metalwork, anchors railings and frames, fixes cladding, and connects lit elements to the electrical rough-ins. Site work carries $2,000,000 commercial general liability insurance and WSIB coverage in good standing. Outside the GTA we supply crated, match-marked parts and installation drawings.

Is there a minimum order?

No fixed minimum, but the economics are honest. Drawings, samples, setup, and freight are largely fixed costs, so a single small bracket rarely beats a local shop. A counter, a storefront frame, a railing run, or a cladding package is where factory-direct pricing starts to win.

Can you combine metal with millwork, glass, and lighting?

Yes, and it is usually why clients call us instead of a metal shop. The same factory builds millwork, glass display cases, and lit fixtures, so a counter with a stainless front, a solid-surface top, an LED-lit shelf, and a glass vitrine is drawn and built as one assembly rather than by three suppliers.
